Portland Trail Blazers All-Star Damian Lillard is excited about the release of his third studio album: BIG D.O.L.L.A. (Different On Levels Lord Allowed). In fact, the 29-year-old native of Oakland, California says this latest production is “his best” work yet.

As you can see from his Twitter post, Lillard is joined by several notable artists on his new album, including Lil Wayne and Jeremih. Interestingly, one of the tracks on the record is titled “Ricky Bobby,” which would seem to be an homage to the popular 2006 film, Talladega Nights.

This isn't the first time that Lillard and Lil Wayne have collaborated on a track. The two artists came together in 2016 for the release of “Loyal to the Soil.”

Lillard is coming off of a fantastic season with the Blazers. The former No. 6 overall pick made 80 appearances during the 2018-19 campaign, racking up averages of 25.8 points on 44.4 percent shooting from the field (36.9 percent from beyond the arc), 6.9 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 35.5 minutes per outing. And just for the record: Dame knocked down 91.2 percent of his shots at the charity stripe.

The Blazers finished the 2018-19 regular season with a 53-29 overall record, which earned the team a No. 3 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Unfortunately, though, Portland was defeated by Golden State Warriors in the conference finals.
