Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard will not be returning in what is heading to be a Game 4 blowout against the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to the Blazers, Lillard suffered knee injury.

Lillard logged just 27 minutes in the contest, finishing with 11 points on 3-of-9 shooting, to go along with one rebound, four assists, a steal, and three turnovers.

The Blazers were completely thrashed by the Lakers early in the game and were down by 25 points entering the fourth period. With that said, it's not surprising that Portland opted to rule Dame out for the rest of the game.

Moreover, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Lillard is undergoing MRI on his knee to determine the severity of the injury.

The Blazers shocked the basketball world by stealing Game 1 against the top-seeded Lakers, but they have since lost the momentum and appeared to be on their way to an early elimination.

For what it's worth, it was reported earlier that Lakers star big man Anthony Davis has been ruled out for the remainder of the contest due to a back injury, but it is probably more because of the lopsidedness of the contest as opposed to an actual concerning injury.
