Despite the recent struggles for the Portland Trail Blazers, they still remain in the sixth spot in a loaded Western Conference coming down the stretch run of the regular season. Leading the charge, per the usual, Damian Lillard. The Blazers superstar most recently leapfrogged Jason Kidd on the NBA's all-time made 3-pointers list and Kidd took a moment to tip the cap to Lillard via Twitter.

As Kidd notes, Lillard passing him on the all-time made three pointers list put the Blazers guard in 10th all-time on the list. Lillard responded to Kidd's tweet with a tip of the cap himself.

The Blazers have been struggling lately, losing five of their last six games and all have come by nine points or less. In their last game, Portland lost 106-105 in a crushing defeat to the Denver Nuggets. While falling completely out of the playoff picture is super unlikely for the Blazers, they, like everyone else, are trying to avoid the dreaded play-in tournament. Seeds 7 through 10 will battle it out in both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference after the regular season for the final two postseason berths. Lillard and the Blazers currently sit in 6th in the West, but are only a half game ahead of the Mavericks, who are in 7th.

With Lillard back in the lineup and healthy, the Blazers will always have a shot. Three of the next four for Portland will come against the Memphis Grizzlies before the Blazers head out east for some tough road matchups that feature games against the Nets, Celtics and Hawks.

If Dame keeps firing away from three and converting, the Blazers can become a sneaky pick in the Western Conference come playoff time.
