Blazers’ Damian Lillard suffers groin strain, out for All-Star Game
Lillard didn’t hear a pop when he injured his groin. The star will spend All-Star weekend recovering.
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard suffered a right groin strain (grade 1-2) and is unlikely to participate in Sunday night’s All-Star Game, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Lillard is averaging 29.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 7.9 assists on the season. He’s shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 39.5 percent from beyond the arc and 88.8 percent from the free-throw line.
Lillard and the Blazers are 25-30 on the season. They are in ninth place in the Western Conference standings.
