Jimmy Butler's recent trade to the Sixers spells just one thing to swingman Evan Turner — more fun. Especially considering Philadelphia just added another All-Star to make a run-back series against the Boston Celtics that much more of a rivalry.

“It’s gonna be good,” said Turner, according to Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald. “I’m gonna be sitting back with popcorn watching it. Great series is what you want, especially for the game of basketball. Great matchups, great rivalries make a storied game.”

The West has lost another star now in Butler, East-bound in a similar way in which former San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard found a new home in the Toronto Raptors. While Turner might not be battling at the wing against either of them, the trade makes for a conclusion to a two-month drama series between Butler and the Minnesota Timberwolves and for the start of a potential reborn rivalry between the Sixers and Celtics, one the NBA has long awaited.

Unlike the Blazers at a 10-3 season record, the Sixers (8-6) and Celtics (7-6) have gotten off to subpar starts to their season, looking to quickly mend them in hopes of quickly regaining ground on the revamped Raptors.

As a fan, Evan Turner thinks Butler's addition brings the final ingredient that would help the Sixers make for much stiffer competition against a talent-loaded Celtics team that easily moved past them without Kyrie Irving or Gordon Hayward in the lineup this past postseason.
