The Los Angeles Lakers’ future looks bright and Brandon Ingram sees his in the same light.
He will be sharing the floor, and touches, with fellow youngsters Jordan Clarkson, D’Angelo Russell, and Julius Randle, but the lanky swingman is confident that he can stand out well enough to win the top rookie plum.
Ingram reminded everyone, through Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News, of his short term goal.

He does have the tools to become a very good player in the league. But the bigger question pertains to his particular goal. Can he do it?
Of course there’s a chance, but that’s not more than what Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, or even Kris Dunn have between themselves. We’ll see how he fares when the season begins and as it goes on.
