Atlanta Braves outfielder Jorge Soler sent the baseball world and the whole MLB twitter into a frenzy with what could simply be the biggest home run of the 2021 World Series.

In the third inning of the World Series Game 6, Soler blasted the ball out of Minute Maid Park off a cutter from Houston Astros starting pitcher Luis Garcia. Showing that hunger to finish the game and avoid a do-or-die Game 7, the 29-year-old Cuban displayed not only his power but also his technique as he capped off the eight-pitch at bat with the sensational homer.

Making things more amazing? Soler actually hit the ball at 109.6 mph for a distance of 446 feet–which definitely looked like he sent the ball back to Atlanta. The hit gave the Braves a 3-0 lead at the time as they got their first runs of the game.

After witnessing such spectacle, though, fans couldn't help but share their amazement. In fact, one even compared it to Albert Pujol's three-run moonshot during the 2005 National League Championship.

Meanwhile, other fans just couldn't hide their disbelief with the epic home run. After all, it couldn't come at a more perfect time for the Braves after they wasted their chance to close the series in Game 5.

Jorge Soler gave the Braves the start they exactly want to put them in the driver's seat in the series, and it could very well be the deciding moment of the affair.
