Jaylen Brown will be sitting on $128,404,269 by the time the summer of 2024 rolls around, per Spotrac. That's when his contract with the Boston Celtics expires.

Brown entered the league in 2016 with the Boston Celtics. He averaged 6.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game as a rookie while making $4,743,000.

In his second season, Jaylen Brown earned $4,956,480 and increased his stat line to 14.5 points and 4.9 boards. The talented swingman out of California put up 13.0 points and 4.2 rebounds in 2018-19. He made $5,169,960 and had set himself up to sign a lucrative rookie-scale extension with the Celtics.

Before the start of the 2019-20 campaign, Boston signed Brown to a massive four-year, $107 million rookie contract extension. The deal also has $12 million in incentives.

Jaylen Brown was averaging 20.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists for the Celtics in 50 games in 2019-20 before the season was suspended due to COVID-19. The 23-year-old was also shooting 49.0 percent from the field, 38.1 percent from beyond the arc and 73.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Brown was scheduled to make $6,534,829 in 2019-20 prior to the NBA suspending games because of the coronavirus pandemic. His $107 million extension will kick in whenever the 2020-21 season starts.

Moving forward, Jaylen Brown will make $23,883,929 in 2020-21, $25,794,643 in 2021-22, $27,705,357 in 2022-23 and $29,616,071 in 2023-24. The youngster has career NBA averages of 12.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists.

Though he's been in trade rumors ever since he was drafted by the Celtics, it appears Brown is going to be staying in Boston for the long-haul. There are no more superstars who are available to trade for. Brown and Jayson Tatum were the two players on the Celtics who always drew the most attention on the trade block whenever a superstar requested a trade.

Now that all the elite players appear to be settled, the Celtics can comfortably build around Brown and Tatum.

That's why the franchise signed Brown to his extension and will likely do the same with Tatum when he becomes eligible for his rookie-scale extension.
