The Denver Broncos will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second week of NFL action. The Broncos won their first game against the New York Giants, 27-13, and hope to build on that success in Week 2. The morning of the game came with good news for Denver, as one of their most impactful defenders is returning from injury.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Broncos star rusher Bradley Chubb is set to make his 2021 debut against the Jaguars.
Broncos’ LB Bradley Chubb, listed as questionable with an ankle injury that prevented him from playing the opener, “probably” will make his season debut today vs. Jacksonville, per source. If he does, Chubb and Von Miller would be unleashed vs. Trevor Lawrence.

Chubb didn't play in the season-opener due to an ankle injury despite being listed as “questionable” on the final injury report. Even if he's less than 100 percent, expect Chubb and Von Miller—among the most feared pass-rushing duos in football—to give Jaguars rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence fits in his second NFL start.
According to Broncos beat writer Ben Swanson, Denver head coach Vic Fangio stated last week that Chubb's status for Week 2 would be re-evaluated on Saturday. Evidently, both he and the coaching staff agreed that he is ready to play and make his debut.
The Broncos are looking to build on their first-week win and continue their winning ways. On the other hand, the Jaguars will be looking to bounce back from a tough 37-21 loss in the first week against the Houston Texans.
