Denver Broncos former wide receiver Demaryius Thomas reportedly passed away Thursday evening. Details surrounding his death are still not clear at this time. Atlanta Falcons producer for FOX5, Miles Garrett, tweeted out that he e-mailed Thomas' former high school football coach, who told him the rumors are true.

The long-time Broncos WR finished his career with 724 catches, almost 10,000 yards receiving, and 63 receiving touchdowns. He played most of his career with the Broncos, but also played with the Houston Texans and the New York Jets briefly to end his career.

Benjamin Allbright, reporter, host, and analyst of the Broncos flagship expressed his personal feelings.

Thomas was a stalwart of the Broncos offense for the better part of a decade. He was a part of the team that dominated defenses, helping Peyton Manning set the all-time NFL passing touchdown record with 55.

Thomas was also one of the leading wide receivers for the Broncos team in 2016 that won the Super Bowl over the Carolina Panthers. That gave Peyton Manning his elusive second championship.

With news of Thomas' passing, former teammates and loved ones have shared their thoughts and feelings.

Demaryius Thomas or DT as he was often referred to, was known for being as good of a human being off the field as he was on it. That is saying something as he was a force on the gridiron.

NFL Network analyst James Palmer strongly agreed with that sentiment.

Palmer was not the only one who was left with that sentiment on Thomas. Vic Lombardi, from Denver's Altitude TV, shared the similar feeling.

In his passing, Thomas leaves behind his mother Katina Smith and two sisters, Tyeshia and Tonecia.
