When HBO Sports films their latest series of Hard Knocks, the Denver Broncos are among the teams that could be forced to participate. Only one team ultimately ends up being selected, and there are five teams that can be forced into doing it.

The other teams that could potentially be forced into participating include the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Pittsburgh Steelers. When considering the options from a branding standpoint, the Steelers and Broncos seem to be obvious top choices.

There are a few main reasons why a team can be eligible to decline to appear on Hard Knocks, and those include; hiring a new head coach, making the playoffs within the previous two seasons, and if they have been on Hard Knocks within the last 10 years. None of these applies to the Broncos.

Last time, the Oakland Raiders were the team that was chosen, and it was quite an anticipated series. Something that made headlines was the never-ending Antonio Brown saga that featured a strange grievance about not being able to wear his preferred model of helmet.

One team, in particular, that stands out as a fascinating choice is the Cardinals. Between the entertainment value of head coach Kliff Kingsbury, veteran receiver Larry Fitzgerald, and franchise-quarterback Kyler Murray, there's a lot to like about that potential choice.

It seems highly unlikely that the Broncos would come with any storylines that could rival Brown. However, being able to see the development of quarterback Drew Lock would be interesting to see. Von Miller and other key players would bring strong entertainment value, too.
