The NFL season isn't over yet, and the Green Bay Packers are still very much alive in the chase to win a Vince Lombardi Trophy, but that's going to stop rumors from swirling around about Aaron Rodgers' chances to play next season for another team. The Denver Broncos are arguably the team that's been most linked to the quarterback, and you can expect even more speculations with regards to a potential Rodgers move to Mile High City to fly around following a report that the Broncos are eyeing to interview Packers QB coach Luke Getsy, per Dan Graziano of ESPN.

Interesting one: The Broncos requested permission to interview Packers QB coach/passing game coordinator Luke Getsy for their HC opening, per source. Along with Packers OC Nathaniel Hackett, that's two Broncos candidates who currently coach Aaron Rodgers. Hmmmm…

Of course, this could ultimately just be making something out of nothing, but the Broncos must also be aware that making such a move would be adding fire to Aaron Rodgers rumors about Denver as his next landing spot.

In a vacuum, there's not a team out there in the NFL who wouldn't love to have someone like Rodgers on their roster. The Broncos don't need to be in a vacuum to want Rodgers. They are a team that hasn't had much luck in their search for a solid quarterback ever since Peyton Manning. Neither Drew Lock nor Teddy Bridgewater is an answer for the Broncos. But with Rodgers' and the Packers' focus currently on winning Super Bowl 56, NFL fans will just have to wait for how things will unfold in the offseason.
