The Denver Broncos are dead set on making a splash in the quarterback market this offseason, and GM George Paton revealed the lengths he's willing to go in order to make that happen. During an interview at the NFL Scouting Combine, Paton said that “everything is on the table” in regards to the team's goal of acquiring a star quarterback, via ESPN.

The Broncos, of course, have been heavily linked to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who could look to force a trade away from the franchise. Paton revealed the Broncos would be willing to trade multiple draft picks in order to land a veteran quarterback.

“I just think that's the flexibility you have when you have a lot of picks. We have 11 picks, so if we had to give a little to go get a player, we can do it, and it's not going to handcuff you for the draft,” said Paton. “Everything's on the table; we do like having picks.”

Paton did not specifically name Rodgers, as he is under contract for another team and that would be a violation of the NFL's rules, however, it is clear as day who he was referring to when saying he'd consider a blockbuster trade for a veteran QB.

In addition to his comments about trading for a quarterback, Paton discussed the team's stance on bringing back free-agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, offering praise to the 29-year-old and stating that he was an “appealing” option. As it stands, Drew Lock is the only quarterback under contract for the Broncos, so the team will absolutely be addressing the position in the offseason.

As for whom they're able to acquire, that remains to be seen, though the popular choice in Denver would surely be the reigning MVP in Aaron Rodgers, who could help make Denver Super Bowl contenders.
