The 2020 NFL Draft is going to be different than any other draft in history, as it will be held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. Just a few days before it begins, John Elway, the GM of the Denver Broncos, made a revealing quote about the 2020 NFL Draft.

With the draft being held virtually, teams have chosen a coach or executive to set up a draft war room within the confines of their home. As a result, it remains to be seen how normal the draft is compared to previous seasons.

In recent years, trades on draft day have become more and more prevalent for teams. Seeing that Elway and the Broncos have 10 total draft picks, they could look to make some moves during the draft. Earlier this week, it was reported that Denver could be looking to trade up to select one of the top-tier receiver prospects.

While Elway could be involved in trades, he believes the virtual draft could limit the number of trades that take place. Of course, connection issues and other occurrences could cause teams to be wary of trading in this year's draft.

Though, on Monday, the NFL held a run-through of the draft for all 32 teams to get a feel of what it will be like on Thursday. As expected by many, there were glitches that took place during Monday's run-through of the draft.

Also, Elway believes the absence of having everyone from the organization in the same room could lead to fewer trades. Despite the NFL's attempt to salvage the draft, there's guaranteed to be some noticeable difference in this year's draft.
