Denver Broncos starting quarterback Trevor Siemian has been very impressive early this season, but he’s not one to get too carried away by a pair of good showings to kick off the 2017 campaign.

The third-year quarterback, who currently leads all quarterbacks with touchdown passes (6) and all qualified signal-callers in passer rating (106.9), spoke to Jeff Legwold of ESPN and tried to play the humility card when reflecting on the success he’s been having so far under center.

“It's good, it's Week 2.”

“Not really, we won two games, that's pretty good,” Siemian said. “We're focused on this week.”

In trying to further describe the Broncos’ humming offense, Siemian gave more props to his receivers rather than absorbing all of the praise he's received so far.

Siemian phrased it as “drop back and throw it to the open guy.”

The Broncos opened the season with back-to-back wins at home over the Los Angeles Chargers (24-21) and the Dallas Cowboys (42-17). The team is fourth overall in the league with 33.0 points per game, which should also be attributed to the job the Broncos backfield is doing with C.J. Anderson and company. Denver is first in the NFL with 159.0 rushing yards per contest in the early-going.

Siemian is 45 of 60 on passing attempts through two games for 450 yards.
