The one constant team that has popped up in any Aaron Rodgers trade rumors has been the Denver Broncos. Sure, they have Drew Lock and they added Teddy Bridgewater this offseason, but clearly those two aren't on the same tier as Rodgers.

Denver has been super aggressive in the past in adding quarterbacks and that would expect to stay the same if Rodgers continues to hold out in Green Bay and became available.

Denver's all-pro linebacker Von Miller spoke out on the possibility of the Broncos adding Rodgers while also supporting his current quarterback, Drew Lock.

Via Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, here's what Lock said.

“It's crazy to think about, you know, getting an Aaron Rodgers,” Miller said over the weekend during his annual pass-rushing summit. “You put him on any team in the league, and he changes that team.”

“If you get too emotionally involved in those guys, and then it doesn't happen, now you got [Drew] Lock over here looking like … what about now?'” Miller said. “So you don't want to get too emotionally attached to the rumors.” – Von Miller.

It's a smart approach by the Broncos linebacker in tapering expectations when nothing to this point has happened yet. The Packers front office has remained adamant on the stance that they will not trade Rodgers. That could always change though if the league MVP continues to holdout.

The Broncos have Lock, they have Bridgewater and Miller knows there's a likely chance those will be Denver's options entering Week 1, for now.

“You start thinking, ‘Oh, we're going to get Aaron Rodgers or Deshaun Watson,” Miller said. “But hold on, wait a minute, we've got Drew Lock. That's who we're running with. That's who we're going into the season with until anything changes.” – Von Miller.

For now, that is who the Broncos will run with. But don't expect Denver to go quietly without hitting up the Packers phone lines again before the season starts.
