It is not very often that a player the caliber of Von Miller hits the open market, but the Denver Broncos legend and 2x Super Bowl champion is officially an NFL free agent.

The latest speculation surrounding the next home for the former Super-Bowl MVP comes directly from the source itself.

Von's latest IG post creates speculation that he is openly considering a return to Denver.

In a recent post to his IG story, Von is seen pondering if he would wear #58 or #40 if he were to potentially return to the Broncos. You will remember that Von spent the first 10.5 years of his career with the Broncos donning the #58 jersey, but following a mid-season trade to the Rams last season, Miller switched his calling card to the #40.

In addition, Von follows up his original post jokingly asking if the Broncos would be willing to give him his old locker back.

In addition, Miller posted to his Twitter account the following caption which seemingly pays homage to his years at Mile High.

Miller seems to be making it very clear that a return to the Rams is not the only option on his table. He very much seems intrigued by running it back with the Broncos. If this speculation comes to fruition, Broncos fans will be very happy to welcome back their longtime franchise icon. The Broncos' front office will also be happy to welcome back the defensive legend, potentially pocketing a 2022 2nd & 3rd round pick from the Rams in the process.

LA will undoubtedly ramp up its efforts to retain Miller in light of this recent news, but he may be sending a clear signal as to his future intentions. Free Agency officially opens March 16th at 4 pm EST, so there is still time for other teams to enter the conversation, but when a player like Von Miller has the history and loyalty to a franchise like Denver it may already be a done deal. Time will tell.
