The Denver Broncos made efforts to create firepower on offense heading into the 2020 NFL season. The onus will now fall on quarterback Drew Lock to make it all come to fruition.

Drew Lock is coming off a promising rookie year and is set to prove himself as a bonafide franchise quarterback this season. Former NFL quarterback J. T. O’Sullivan recently broke down his game on The QB School:

Drew Lock went 4-1 as the starter over the last five games of the 2019 campaign. Although he managed to show off his potential, he is clearly still far from a finished product.

Fortunately, the Broncos were adamant about beefing up his supporting cast through both free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft. Melvin Gordon is era to provide quite a 1-2 punch in the backfield while the addition of Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler to the receiving corps should give Drew Lock two more viable options to trust in the passing game.
