In what cannot be classified as anything less than a disappointing loss, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield did not argue that point. Speaking to reporters after Sunday's game Mayfield uttered the same sentiments that many Browns fans held coming into the game.

Now falling to 2-4, the Browns' playoff chances are getting slimmer each week and the road will only get tougher in a couple of weeks as they head to New England to face the golden boy and league's best defense.

Cleveland essentially just let Chris Carson run all over them as the Oklahoma State product set a new career-high with 124 rushing yards. While the Browns have a decent pass rush led by Myles Garrett, their run defense needs a lot of work.

Much of Sunday's loss will inevitably fall on Mayfield. The quarterback turned the ball over three more times against the Seahawks and in crucial moments. In an offense that was as hyped as any coming into the season, Mayfield failed to throw for over 300 yards once again.

In primetime games, Mayfield has failed to show up, highlighted by last week's 100 yards and three turnover performance.

The Browns will have a bye week to try and regroup in order to salvage their season from the disappointment it is headed towards.

Mayfield would be the first to say that he needs to play better, but words are meaningless when you're losing games.
