As the Cleveland Browns prepare for their Week 5 matchup with the AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens, they are preparing for one of the most intriguing quarterback duos in the game. Joe Flacco is obviously the starter, but Lamar Jackson has been getting a decent amount of run over the past few games as well.

Cleveland is fully expecting to see Jackson carve out a role for himself this week.

In an interview with Pro Football Talk, Browns head coach Hue Jackson talked about his anticipation of Jackson being a big part of the Ravens' offensive game plan.

“He has played in every game. They have used him in a variety of different ways in every game. We anticipate that he will be out there, and we have to be ready for it.”

Jackson is hoping to see the Ravens' quarterback make some throws this week rather than just using his ability to run the football, and he talked about the four throws that the rookie has made, including one in particular. He hopes that the Browns can force a turnover on a throw if Lamar does make one.

“He overthrew it. Hopefully, he will throw one to us if that happens.”

Throughout the first four weeks of the season, Jackson has put up 24 yards on one out of four passes completed. He has also run for 62 yards on 13 attempts.

Even if the Browns don't get a heavy dosage of Jackson this week, they will be prepared. Baltimore has shown a very creative offense this season and Cleveland does not want to get beat due to being unprepared.

Expect to see the Browns ready for whatever the Ravens' offense throws at them. Cleveland is trying to turn their franchise back into a contender in the AFC, and the in-depth way that they are preparing for games is a big step in the right direction.
