The Cleveland Browns are holding the lead against the New York Jets in the second half of their Monday Night Football game. However, they lose an important cog to their offense in David Njoku.

Jake Trotter reported that the tight end, who didn't make much of an impact outside the touchdown he made against the Tennessee Titans, had to be taken off the field for a concussion check.

He hit his head on the ground after a Nate Hairston tackle on his legs made him flip while in mid-air. The picture wasn't pretty as his neck was bent in an undesirable angle. He understandably wasn't able to complete the pass from Baker Mayfield.

Given how he fell to the ground, there will be questions as to whether Njoku will be able to return and the Browns will surely miss his production.

Some Cleveland Browns fans who saw the hit are probably grimacing towards Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. This hard hit only makes the drama surrounding him intensify after the game.

It's well known that Odell Beckham Jr. and Williams have a disdain for each other. Their beef has become the main narrative coming into this match. Moreover, Damarious Randall also dipped his toe in the issue, saying that he would have walked away if Williams as named the head coach.

There's no question that this injury will be brought up in the post-game presser. And regardless of how things go in the game, OBJ will use Njoku's injury as fuel to the fire.
