Third-year tight end David Njoku has almost been a man forgotten this offseason as the Browns rapidly became a popular pick to make the playoffs — or even win a championship — by overhauling its skill positions.

The team's starting tight end was one of Baker Mayfield's top targets last season. Now, additions such as Odell Beckham Jr. and Kareem Hunt (when not suspended), along with breakout players like Nick Chubb and veteran pass catcher Jarvis Landry are all in the spotlight.

The fact that a dynamic tight end like Njoku is flying so far under the radar only underscores the vast transformation the Browns have undergone in a year's time. But Njoku wants to make sure you know his name when the games count.

Njoku stopped by the Rich Eisen Show Tuesday, while working out with teammates in California, and was asked about his goals for the 2019 season. While he started off by saying he doesn't normally like to put specific numbers to goals, Njoku had a specific idea in mind for one of them.

“With that being said, I want 20 touchdowns this year,” Njoku added laughing before going back to his canned responses. “I just feel, for me, just knowing that I gave all I got will make me feel accomplished.”

Sure, he was probably mostly joking about getting 20 scores, since only two pass catchers have ever met that mark (Jerry Rice, 22, and Randy Moss, 23) but, hey, we like it when athletes dream big.

Sure, the offense is likely too stacked for Njoku to reach 20 touchdowns. But, in Cleveland especially, that's a good thing.
