The Cleveland Browns have been able to endure multiple injuries in their secondary and they may have to do so again this week. Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams are questionable for Week 5 versus the San Francisco 49ers.

The Browns released their injury report for Week 5 and both of the team's starting corners are listed as questionable. At the same time, neither Ward or Williams has practiced this week; putting their availability in jeopardy for Monday night.

Over the past two weeks, Ward and Williams have been sidelined with hamstring injuries. In their place, both Terrance Mitchell and T.J. Carrie have been asked to take a larger workload in the defense.

Along with Ward and Williams, both Morgan Burnett and Damarious Randall have also missed games due to injury. Luckily for Cleveland, the players who have stepped in as replacements have fared well in recent weeks.

In the past two games, the Browns were able to hold Jared Goff and Lamar Jackson to just 515 passing yards. Additionally, the two quarterbacks combined for five touchdowns and four interceptions.

Along with their respective numbers, the Browns secondary was crucial to the team's Week 4 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. They may need the secondary to play a large role once again in their Week 5 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

It remains to be seen if Ward and Williams will be able to give it a go on Monday night. If not, then Mitchell and Carrie will take the reins as the starting cornerbacks for Cleveland for the third consecutive week.
