The Odell Beckham Jr. trade has sent a shockwave through the NFL universe. Immediately after the Antonio Brown trade went down, the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants topped it with this blockbuster. Reactions began pouring in from across the league, and one of the best ones was from free agent safety Dez Bryant. Bryant initially made a hilarious joke about bandwagon Browns fans, and then came back for more by saying he wouldn't be surprised if Cleveland lands Earl Thomas.

With all the splashy moves the Browns have been making, Bryant suggested they take a look at Thomas. The Browns did trade away safety Jabril Peppers in the Beckham trade, so this could make some sense. Thomas is one of the biggest names left on the free agent market.

He's reportedly seeking the most money ever for a safety, and it's unclear if the Browns will be willing to pay it. Most of the other top safeties have signed already, and Thomas is holding out for the deal he wants. With all the star power Cleveland already has, adding Thomas would be just absurd.

Bryant himself had the opportunity to play for the Browns last year, and even visited the team. But he ultimately declined to sign and later on decided to join the Saints. Shortly after signing with New Orleans, he suffered a torn Achilles which ended his season. The Saints reportedly want him back next year, but it's up in the air as to whether or not he'll be ready for the 2019 season. If Thomas were to sign with the Browns, the internet might just explode.
