Heading into his fifth year in the league, Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry will play in another uniform for the first time in his career, as he's set to begin his first campaign with the Cleveland Browns after four seasons with the Miami Dolphins.

Landry is already boasting about his new situation, voicing much optimism about what could lie ahead of him in Cleveland. According to Marc Sessler of NFL.com, the 25-year-old was at it once again, but this time he went as far to state that he believes the Browns' quarterback situation is better than anything he had in Miami.

“I think [Browns play-caller] Todd [Haley] is going to give me the opportunities I need to … not show off my talents, but the things that I can do,” Landry said when asked if there's a version of the wideout we haven't seen. “I believe that I'm a complete receiver all-around.”

Landry wasn't finished, saying: “… The quarterback play is so important, which has got me that much more excited about Tyrod and (first-rounder Baker Mayfield) and the way that they're throwing the ball out here, it makes me that much more excited. It's a lot better than what I had in Miami. I'm excited about that.”

These comments make it quite evident that he wasn't exactly enamored about playing with Ryan Tannehill through the bulk of his tenure in Miami, and then Jay Cutler last year. He experienced great individual success with the Dolphins, setting the NFL record for most catches through his first four seasons, but that only equated to the team reaching the playoffs once.

Landry now enters a potentially promising situation with the Browns after inking a five-year, $75.5 million deal where he should be a major factor for their rebooted offense. He could quickly form a dynamic duo alongside former Pro Bowler Josh Gordon on the outside, while the addition of Carlos Hyde and rookie Nick Chubb should provide much-needed balance in the running game.
