Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to make his 2021 season debut against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks leading up to the Week 3 showdown, according to ESPN's Jordan Schultz.

Beckham returned to full practice this week and offered up a cryptic remark Thursday about his status for Sunday. Earlier in the week, he seemed to tease his playing status while tweeting at the injured Jarvis Landry, who's going to miss a few weeks with his own knee injury.

The Browns wide receiver tore his ACL last season at the end of October. There had actually been some optimism that he could return for Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but it was announced a little before kickoff that he wouldn't be able to go. He was then ruled out early for Week 2 against the Houston Texans.

It will be a nice boost for Cleveland to have Beckham back in the lineup, especially with Landry hurting. While Beckham isn't the player he once was with the New York Giants and will be rusty coming off that torn ACL, his presence should help Baker Mayfield and the rest of the Browns' offense.

The wideout had over 1,000 yards receiving in his first season in Cleveland, but his second campaign was marred by the knee injury. The Browns had a wildly successful campaign in 2020 even with Beckham missing a little over half the season, going to the playoffs and even beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round.

Cleveland is 1-1 to start this season after a tough loss to the Chiefs and then a win over the Texans. Beckham is itching to get back out on the field so he can help with another playoff push. Let's hope there are no setbacks leading up to this game.
