In last week's game between the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, things became heated between Odell Beckham Jr. and Marlon Humphrey. The situation escalated to a point where Beckham Jr. and Humphrey were both fined for their altercation.

Earlier this week, the NFL fined both players $14,037 for their unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. At this moment, it is apparent that both of them will appeal their fine to the league office.

Throughout last Sunday's game, the Browns receiver and Ravens cornerback were chirping back and forth. Then, the two players got into a scuffle that saw Humphrey on top of Beckham Jr. with his hands on his neck. At the same time, Humphrey claims that Beckham Jr. was throwing punches.

Nevertheless, both players were penalized for the avoidable incident. As for the game, Cleveland won but Beckham Jr. was held to just two receptions for 20 yards by the standout corner for the Ravens.

On Friday, Beckham Jr. stated that he had to restrain himself from letting his emotions get the best of him.

“I've come a long way,” said Beckham, who was suspended four years ago for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Josh Norman. “I probably would've been suspended for the next game if I would've done what I wanted to do — or more, knowing how I get treated. It was just something I had to [do] for my teammates and not hurt them even more than the 15-yard penalty.

Just like every incident similar to this, there are two sides to every story. The NFL will hear both sides and determine if one of the players was more at fault than the other.
