The Cleveland Browns made a splash with their blockbuster acquisition of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason. It appears head coach Freddie Kitchens is as big a fan of Beckham as there is.

Kitchens was not shy about expressing his fandom of his new wideout. Beckham seemed to be enjoying his comments as much as the rest of Cleveland via Twitter:

It is encouraging to see the two already starting to hit it off. Kitchens' comments were certainly understandable considering they are things most fans would say to Beckham. He now has the opportunity to draw up game pans with an elite receiver at his disposal.

The Browns enjoyed a bit of a resurgence in the 2018 campaign. They followed up their surprising season with a number of notable moves in the offseason. The front office kicked things off by making Kitchens the official head coach moving forward before making headlines with the Beckham deal. As a result, expectations are now higher than ever.

Beckham has been considered one of the most talented wideouts in the league ever since entering the league in 2014.

Although wide receiver Jarvis Landry had been the No. 1 option the passing game last year, it is safe to say that his good friend and new teammate will be filling that role moving forward. Quarterback Baker Mayfield thrived despite the lack of firepower on the Browns last season.

It will be interesting to see what he can do now that it is no longer an issue.
