Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tore his ACL last season, but now he's expected to be ready to go for Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapaport.

Beckham will work out ahead of the game just to confirm that he's ready to play. As long as there are no unexpected setbacks, he's going to give it a go. He is currently listed as questionable.

The Browns wide receiver was limited in practice during the week and hasn't taken full contact or a hit to his knee. It seems a bit odd that he's going to play without doing those things, but if he's feeling good and the medical staff is okay with it, he's not going to miss this showdown.

Beckham appeared in seven games in 2020 before suffering the torn ACL. The veteran wideout caught 23 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns in those seven games. In his first season in Cleveland in 2019, he caught 74 balls for 1,035 yards and four scores.

This Week 1 matchup between the Browns and Chiefs is a rematch of their Divisional Round matchup, which Kansas City barely won to advance to the AFC Championship Game. Beckham was obviously not able to play in that game because of the torn ACL, and he's clearly eager to be available for Sunday's rematch.
