Odell Beckham Jr. of the Cleveland Browns is one of the most recognizable wide receivers in the NFL. While his numbers might’ve dipped over the past few seasons after three straight Pro Bowl appearances to start his career with the New York Giants, there’s no denying that fans around the world love OBJ – and with good reason as this video from The Checkdown dictates.

As you can see, the video shows Beckham being thoroughly magnanimous with his fans, including saying he’ll follow a young fan on Instagram.
While Beckham might get knocked for being something of a “diva” off the field, that behavior doesn’t extend to his dealings with fans, as he seems like nothing short of a gentleman in these various interactions.
Other than promising to follow the youngster on Instagram, Beckham also gives a young fan a pair of his practice-worn cleats, which the young boy is stunned to receive – through his beaming, broad grin conveys just how happy he is to receive this gift from his hero.
After spending the first five seasons of his career with the New York Giants, the team that drafted him, Beckham forced a trade and went to the Cleveland Browns.
Though his first season with the team was not as successful, both individually and as a team, as OBJ was expecting, the team is still seemingly on the rise with a stable of talented young players including Nick Chubb, Baker Mayfield and OBJ’s receiving corps counterpart Jarvis Landry, who made the Pro Bowl in 2019.
