Baker Mayfield's receiving options in the Cleveland Browns' Week 16 matchup against the New York Jets were severely limited on Saturday after multiple Browns wide receivers were ruled out due to COVID-19 concerns.

ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen reported that a few Cleveland wideouts were labeled as “High-Risk-Close-Contacts” as the team awaited word on who could travel to New Jersey to face the Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Schefter later specified that Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, and Donovan People-Jones were the receivers who had been labeled as close contacts, putting their status for Sunday in serious doubt.

Landry, Higgins, Peoples-Jones, and backup WR KhaDarel Hodge were all placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, per ESPN's Jake Trotter.

Landry was not pleased about the news, voicing his frustration on Twitter.

Earlier on Saturday, the Browns announced that a player had tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the team to shut down its facility.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero later reported that Browns linebacker B.J. Goodson has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

According to Trotter, Cleveland's flight to New Jersey was delayed by over four hours as contact tracing was conducted. Rookie linebacker Jacob Phillips was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, too.

If the game does take place on Sunday with no further additions to the COVID list, Cleveland's Week 16 receiving corps will feature Marvin Hall and practice squad call-ups Derrick Willies and Ja'Marcus Bradley.

Fortunately, the Browns are playing the Jets.
