Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin had a hilarious message for Tom Brady every time he tries to run the football.
The Buccaneers star wide receiver had this to say,
“Every time I see him run the ball I’m like… please get down.”
Not only is this comment hilarious, but it's also in the best interest of the Buccaneers team. If the Buccaneers didn't have arguably the greatest quarterback of all time, they wouldn't have nearly the same success as they do.
Tom Brady in one season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was able to deliver a Super Bowl title for the organization. The last thing that the Buccaneers want to happen to Brady is for him to get injured while he's scrambling.
Tampa Bay hasn't played great football the past few weeks but was able to bounce back in Week 11 against the New York Giants as they won 30-10. Tom Brady had another great game including 307 yards in the air for two touchdowns. They are 7-3 on the season and are two games ahead of the second-place New Orleans Saints in the NFC South.
Tampa Bay is set to face off against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12. Their main focus at this point in the season is taking care of business and making sure that everybody stays healthy for the playoffs. Chris Godwin and Tom Brady ar one of the best duos in the NFL and they're going to continue to show that throughout the back end of the season.
