Dirk Koetter and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have little to be proud of after they were decimated by the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday. After seeing their win streak end last week at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bucs got handed a devastating 48-10 loss by a Chicago squad that showed no mercy on its visitors.

Speaking to reporters following the contest, Koetter unsurprisingly lamented his team’s poor play and inability to put up a performance that remotely resembles the team’s form during their 2-0 start to the season. What’s shocking, however, was Koetters’s suggestion that Tampa Bay should clean house, per Jenna Laine of ESPN.

One of the most brutally-honest quotes I've ever heard from a coach in postgame, courtesy of Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter: “We should fire every person that was on that field today — starting with me.  That was horrific.”

It took a catastrophic game by Tampa Bay to push Koetter’s button. Against the Bears, the Bucs allowed second-year quarterback throw for 354 yards and six touchdowns with zero interceptions.

Trubisky also led his team with 53 rushing yards on only three carries. On the other end of the field, Ryan Fitzpatrick’s magic appeared to have run dry, as the veteran quarterback only had 126 passing yards on just 9-of-18 completions. He was replaced by the returning Jameis Winston, but even the former Heisman Trophy winner couldn’t resuscitate the Bucs, as he went 16 of 20 for 145 passing yards with a touchdown against two interceptions.

It’s not yet the end of the world for the 2-2 Buccaneers, but Dirk Koetter will have to figure out a way to get out of their two-game slump before it’s too late.
