Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were one of the most devastating tandems in the NFL for almost a decade with the New England Patriots. Not much has changed as the two have taken their talents to Tampa Bay.

In their first game of the season, the Buccaneers got a masterful performance from their quarterback-tight end duo, as both Brady and Gronk are wont to do.

Gronk famously retired after the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl back in 2018. Who else but Tom Brady would be able to coax him out of retirement, with a new mountain to climb with the Buccaneers.

But what Tom giveth, he can also taketh away. Gronk's brother Chris Gronkowski, who himself spent three seasons in the NFL, recently revealed his not-so-little brother's probably plans for retirement.

“Whatever Tom has left,” Chris says on his Bucs brother, “I think that's what Rob has left as well.”

“I just can't see him playing with another quarterback,” Chris tells us. “It's tough to get that chemistry. It's tough to win once you lose that QB.”

Given how Tom Brady looks even as a 44-year-old, maybe that means Gronk still has a handful of years left. Buccaneers fans can only hope that's the case.
