The Ohio State Buckeyes and Minnesota Gophers kicked things off on Thursday in front of a packed stadium with all eyes on Buckeyes star quarterback CJ Stroud. However, it was running back Miyan Williams that got things going in a huge way for Ohio State.

Williams scored the first touchdown of the year for Ohio State, in dramatic fashion too, on an insane 72-yard touchdown run.

Trey Sermon isn't there anymore, but Williams is doing his part and ran right by the entire Gophers defense at the halfway mark of the first quarter to put the Buckeyes on top.

The Buckeyes lost a lot of talent, as always, but Williams is set to play a huge role for this team as they have National title aspirations–highlighted by their No. 4 ranking to begin the season.

While all eyes are on CJ Stroud–and rightfully so– this team has a ton of weapons, including wide receiver Chris Olave, and the hype is real around Columbus. A victory against Minnesota would be a good start, even with the Buckeyes down a few starters going into the game.

Nonetheless, college football season is back, and plays like these will occur on a weekly basis. Enjoy it!
