Charles Barkley has been very gung-ho about the Milwaukee Bucks during these playoffs, and he once again made the prediction that the Bucks will be the 2019 NBA champions. This is a prediction he has made several times during this postseason:

While the Golden State Warriors have always been the favorite and currently sit up 2-0 on the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals, Kevin Durant's injury remains a question mark. And while Stephen Curry and Co. haven't lost yet without Durant, the Bucks are a different beast.

Milwaukee dominated throughout the regular season to the tune of 60 wins and the best average point differential in the league by a wide margin. Now in these playoffs, the Bucks have started 9-1 and just beat the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals despite not playing anywhere close to their best.

Of course, we can't just shoo-in the Bucks past the Raptors. As mighty as Milwaukee has been, Toronto is a formidable opponent led by a superstar in Kawhi Leonard playing some of the best basketball of his career. The Raptors aren't going to go down without a fight, and they could easily come out on top in this series.

Still, if the Bucks do get to the NBA Finals and wind up facing the Warriors, Milwaukee will have a good opportunity to win. The Bucks have an MVP candidate and an outstanding supporting cast, while Golden State has shown some vulnerability. Chuck could very well get this one right, even if it feels like the Warriors are inevitable.
