Giannis Antetokounmpo has been one of the most physically dominant players in the NBA today. The Milwaukee Bucks star's insane blend of athleticism, power, and height has made him arguably the toughest player to guard today. Many feel that he's a player that could've played in any era due to how dominant he was.

According to one 90s legend, though, the Bucks star might not even crack the starting rotation. Charles Oakley, the enforcer of some dominant Knicks teams of the past, claimed that Giannis Antetokounmpo would've just been a sixth man in the 90s. (via NBA Central)

Oakley's claim won't sit well with most NBA fans, and for good reason. Antetokounmpo's physical attributes are unheard of today, much less in the 90s. The Bucks star would tower over most players the same way he does today. If we're just purely basing off of Giannis' attributes, he'd be one of the best players in the 90s.

According to Oakley, Giannis won't dominate in his eras because teams would just pack the paint and force him to make jump shots. However, teams have been doing that to the Bucks ever since his breakout season. Yet no one has been able to stop Giannis at a consistent basis. Despite struggling in the playoffs 2019 and 2020, he came back in 2021 better than ever.

In the end, there's no real way to determine whether the Bucks star would be the same dominant presence he is today if he played against the Oakleys of old. However, to claim that the 2-time MVP would be just a sixth man is ridiculous.
