Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks made it to the top of the NBA mountain last season, defeating the Phoenix Suns to win their first championship since the 1971 season. Antetokounmpo solidified himself as not only one of the best current players in the NBA, but one of the best in the league's rich and storied history. Recently named number 24 on The Athletic's list of the 75 greatest NBA players of all time, Antetokounmpo was featured in a recent story by the sports news outlet. The Greek Freak made a bold statement about his playing future that will please Bucks fans.

“No, I want to play 20 years,” Antetokounmpo said, repeating one of his goals. “Hopefully, I can play all 20 of those years with the Bucks.

Wow. Not only does Giannis Antetokounmpo want to play 20 years in the NBA, but he wants to play all 20 of those seasons with the Bucks. That is a statement that is sure to please Milwaukee fans.

Antetokounmpo went on to say that being number-24 on the list at the age of 27 is a testament to his hard work, but that that hard work has to continue, and he has to keep improving for the Bucks.

Considering that Antetokounmpo has made five All-NBA teams, four All-Defensive teams, has won a Most Improved Player award, Defensive Player of the Year award, two MVPs, an NBA title and a Finals MVP all in his first eight seasons- Bucks fans likely can't wait to see what he can accomplish in his remaining years with the franchise.

As the Bucks star put it, he can't predict the future. But Giannis Antetokounmpo is surely going to do what he does best: continue to work hard.
