Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered a beautiful block against LeBron James at the rim midway through the first quarter of their match. While fans always expect fireworks when the two square off, the former MVP's got off to an early start Thursday night.

Though LeBron might be the “king” everywhere else, Giannis has made it clear that he rules in Milwaukee.

Following a dagger from behind the arc by Jrue Holiday that gave the Bucks an early three-point advantage in the opening frame, James and the Lakers quickly pushed the ball up the court. Attempting to capitalize on a defense that had yet to gain position, LeBron took the ball on an entry pass near the lane, slicing his way around an off-balance Brook Lopez as he attacked the rim. Anticipating Antetokounmpo rotating from the weak side, the ever-present James countered with an up-and-under move meant to evade Giannis' block attempt.

Unfortunately for LeBron, the Greek Freak was more than up for the challenge.

Timing his jump perfectly, Giannis used his superior length to reach above James' head and swat the ball before it could hit the backboard. While LeBron would eventually tie the game less than a minute later with a three-point shot, the block was a reminder to James and the Lakers that they would not so easily dominate the interior, something they've grown accustomed to doing with other smaller teams.

So far, Lebron vs. Giannis has not disappointed.
