The Milwaukee Bucks hosted the defending champs, the Los Angeles Lakers, on Thursday, and it featured an individual battle between two of the top players in the game today in Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James.

Giannis, the league's reigning Defensive Player of the Year and two-time Most Valuable Player winner, got one over LeBron in a tremendous defensive effort in the third period. James thought he had a clear path to the basket on a two-handed dunk attempt only to be met by an outstretched Antetokounmpo at the rim:

Giannis clearly got him cleanly there. Even LeBron himself knew that.

The Bucks entered Thursday's highly-anticipated matchup coming off a narrow 125-123 defeat at the hands of a new-look Brooklyn Nets team on Monday. Giannis and Co. were overpowered by the duo of Kevin Durant and James Harden, as Kyrie Irving sat out Brooklyn's first win in their new era.

After the Lakers on Thursday, Milwaukee will get a couple of days off. They were supposed to battle the Washington Wizards on Friday as part of a back-to-back home set, but that game has since been postponed by the league due to health and safety protocols. The Bucks return to action on Sunday against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.
