Giannis Antetokounmpo is not fair. The Milwaukee Bucks star is just 27 years old, and yet he already has the resume of a potential Hall of Famer. Two MVPs, a DPOY trophy, a Most Improved Player award, and a ring and Finals MVP to boot. He's already one of the most accomplished players in his franchise history.

The Bucks' massive win over the Kevin Durant-led Brooklyn Nets saw Giannis Antetokounmpo overtake franchise legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in scoring. The Greek Freak's 44-point night put him above the former Milwaukee star in the franchise's all-time scoring list. (via StatMuse)

How did Giannis get past Kareem in this category? Well, believe it or not, the Bucks star did it on a step-back three-pointer! Yes, the same Antetokounmpo that was knocked for not having a “bag” and having poor three-point shooting nailed a difficult deep shot to cement his spot in the team's record books.

Is there an argument right now for Giannis to be the greatest Bucks player in franchise history? Perhaps, though it's a close call. Similar to Giannis, Kareem was near-unstoppable during his run with the team. It was incredible to watch, however, he would go on to build a larger legacy in Los Angeles. That fact might make some fans choose Giannis over KAJ.

Giannis has plenty of time to secure his spot in Milwaukee's history books, though. At just 27 years old, there's plenty more for Giannis to achieve. The biggest one would be winning more championships for his team, as rings ultimately are the deciding factor in most players' legacies. However, perhaps getting another MVP award or another MVP/DPOY in the same year would help his case as well (though he'd rather win another ring than that).

The road to defending the Bucks' championship this season is not going to be easy. Teams like the Nets, Sixers, and the Celtics loom as title contenders, while younger teams like the Cavs and the Raptors have the potential to upset a few teams. The team will need Giannis at peak performance for them to secure a shot at a Finals berth.
