Through his first four years in the league, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has emerged as a rising star in the NBA.

However, there has been much trouble with the proper pronunciation of his Greek name. Prior to Friday's contest against the San Antonio Spurs, the 22-year-old took the time to give a lesson on how to state his name.

Regardless of how Antetokounmpo's name is pronounced, he has become a household name in the NBA. His continued improved play has helped him earn much recognition and respect across the league as being one of the best young stars.

Heading into Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, he was leading the NBA with a career-high 31.5 points on 59.1 percent with 10.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.8 blocks. This includes six double-doubles while notching 20 or more points 10 times with six occasions cracking greater than 30 points.

Antetokounmpo has become an all-around talent that has shown to have a high impact on both ends of the floor. He is one of only six players in the NBA currently averaging at least 20.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game while being the only player with multiple 40-point outings this season.

With Antetounmpo still being years away from his physical prime, there should be many more highly productive years ahead of him that could see him contend for multiple MVP awards.
