Giannis Antetokounmpo couldn't be more hyped up after signing his contract extension with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Greek Freak agreed to a three-year extension worth $186 million to stay in Milwaukee, and sure enough, he's pretty satisfied with the deal.

Antetokounmpo's contract extension with the Bucks comes at the heels of the team's acquisition of Damian Lillard during the offseason. Milwaukee is now one of the heavy favorites to win the NBA Championship in 2023-24, thanks to their new duo that is widely considered the best in the league.

Earlier in the offseason, Giannis Antetokounmpo sparked fears that he could potentially leave Milwaukee if they don't show him that they cannot compete for the title once again. He even noted that he would rather wait until next season before signing an extension to better assess where the Bucks are at by that point.
“The real question’s not going to be this year — numbers-wise it doesn’t make sense,” Antetokounmpo said in late August when asked about his potential extension. “But next year, next summer it would make more sense for both parties. Even then, I don’t know… I would not be the best version of myself if I don’t know that everybody’s (Bucks) on the same page, everybody’s going for a championship, everybody’s going to sacrifice time away from their family like I do. And if I don’t feel that, I’m not signing.”
Clearly, Antetokounmpo had a change of heart after seeing that the Bucks are serious about competing with the Lillard trade. Now, he's fully committed and the team can start focusing on the real task at hand: winning.
