Giannis Antetokounmpo is looking to be the peacemaker in this upcoming All-Star Game and if given the chance, bring two known adversaries together in one team during the upcoming festivities. The Milwaukee Bucks forward garnered the second-most votes by fans, and will get his chance to choose the players alongside him. Two mortal enemies are in his sights, Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid and Oklahoma City Thunder dynamo Russell Westbrook.

The two have never gotten along since Embiid broke into the league two seasons ago, and despite being in different conferences, it's been fun to see the two go at each other twice per season.

The Greek Freak however, has other plans.

“It's all about love,” said Giannis Antetokounmpo. “I'm a lover, not a fighter… I'm gonna pick Joel Embiid. If I can pick Joel Embiid and Russell Westbrook on the same team, I'll do it.”

The two players have exchanged barbs on the court and off of it too, as recently as last week when the Thunder escaped with a two-point win on the road, prompting this reaction from Westbrook. Again, Giannis Antetokounmpo is looking to fix this.

That would be followed by Embiid's take during his post-game press availability.

The two teams won't face each other until Feb. 28, a week after the All-Star break. Giannis Antetokounmpo could potentially give us a sneak preview at what to expect if these two played together on the same team, though it is doubtful that these two trash-talking stars would suddenly get along for the sake of the festivities.
