Reigning league MVP and Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo appears to have regained his focus and determination with the season restart on the horizon.

Antetokounmpo recently took to Twitter to make a bold promise for the upcoming resumption of the coronavirus-hit campaign:

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks indeed started the season strong, and they never looked back. Prior to the suspension of the season, Milwaukee held the best record in the league with a 53-12 record.

The Los Angeles Lakers out West are the closest competition the Bucks have in terms of challenging them for the league-best record, with LA amassing 49 wins and 14 losses. In the East, however, the second-placed Toronto Raptors are 6.5 games behind Milwaukee with a win-loss tally of 46-18.

The Bucks remain to be one of the heavy favorites to go all the way this season, and Giannis is very much aware of this. They've worked extremely hard throughout the campaign to get where they are right now, and with games officially about to start again, the Greek Freak and company have every intention to carry on with their quest.

Last season, Milwaukee's title hopes ultimately ended in disappointment after they fell to the Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals. Giannis and the rest of the team know what's at stake this season, as anything less than a trip to the Finals will be considered as a step backwards for the highly-touted Bucks.
