Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo still can't believe he is one of the 75 greatest players in NBA history. That didn't sink in to him until the 75th Anniversary Team ceremony during halftime of the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday.
The Greek Freak shared his unbelievable feeling in the post-game presser, highlighting how he wasn't even supposed to be there–dominating the NBA. Everyone knows the rags-to-riches story of Giannis, from selling watches, CDs, DVDs and other goods on the streets of Greece to throwing dunks over the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant and more in the NBA.
Certainly, over a decade ago, no one would have thought that the skinny kid would play basketball and become one of the most dominant players in NBA history.
With that said, it is not surprising why Giannis was starstruck with all the greatness around him during the ceremony. In fact, he admitted he almost “teared up” on stage while they are being presented.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has always been the one of the humblest stars in the league. While he has reached great heights in just a short amount of time, he has stayed grounded and always looks back where he came from.
However, there is no doubt the Bucks superstar deserves all the credit and recognition he got. He worked his way up in the NBA, and no one could ever say he took the easy road to the NBA championship.
