Milwaukee Bucks superstar and reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has admitted that he used to play Lego games ‘a lot.'

In a report by Tyler Erzberger of ESPN, NBA players shared their hobbies outside of basketball. Players like Lonzo Ball, Andre Drummond and Ben Simmons professed their love for video games such as Fortnite, 2K and Madden, among others. Antetokounmpo, for his part, was hesitant to admit that he played a lot of Lego games, especially the Indiana Jones version.

“This might sound corny … I used to play a lot of, you know, the Lego games,” Giannis said. “The Lego games are fun. You can be the superhero Lego and all that; that was fun with [versions such as] Indiana Jones Lego.”

It can be hard to imagine the Bucks star hunched in a sofa in front of a TV screen, toying with a controller and pretending to be Indiana Jones. After all, why does he need to pretend like someone else when his real persona and gift of athleticism is enough to trump his evil foes?

Either way, it's an interesting insight into Antetokounmpo's life outside of basketball. We rarely see them not donning their team jerseys or a pair of sweats when they're training. It's a good reminder that NBA players — despite the millions they earn and pressure to succeed — take some time to step away from the game of basketball.
