Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo infamously doesn't like training with other star players. The reigning Finals MVP once again explained his reasoning for not getting together with other stars for workouts in an interview with COSMOTE TV, and it's truly a boss move.

You have to love this mindset:

Giannis is the ultimate competitor who's always looking at ways to get better, and he doesn't want to let his guard down and fall behind in any way. He's an absolute killer on the court who will physically destroy you with his freakish abilities.

But the Bucks star is also just a great dude, and as he noted, he doesn't want to be a great buddy with somebody off the court and then change his whole approach with them when they meet face-to-face on the court.

We saw The Greek Freak's killer nature throughout these last playoffs, and especially in the NBA Finals. Even when facing a good amount of adversity, Giannis always pushed through it and played well. He faced multiple series deficits, an injury and fans mocking him for his free-throw shooting, but that didn't stop him from going out and winning his first title. His Game 7 Finals performance was one for the ages.

Antetokounmpo will look to get even better when the Bucks try to defend their title in 2021-22. Judging by his quotes, he's not going to be resting on his laurels. Giannis is ready to go back out there and dominate once again in an improved Eastern Conference featuring a juggernaut Brooklyn Nets team.
