Donte DiVincenzo has become a starter for the Milwaukee Bucks in his third year with the franchise and he's getting some recognition from his teammates. With DiVincenzo becoming a mainstay in the starting lineup, Giannis Antetokounmpo has given him an interesting nickname, per The Athletic's Eric Nehm.

Antetokounmpo has begun calling DiVincenzo “White Chocolate” recently during his postgame press conferences. Of course, “White Chocolate” is a nickname that has already been used in the NBA before when Jason Williams came into the league.

Williams was a point guard in the late 1990s and early 2000s who constantly pulled off flashy passes. People dubbed him as “White Chocolate” due to how smooth he made everything he did look when he played with the Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, and the Miami Heat in his 12-year career in the NBA.

As for DiVincenzo, he's beginning to come into his own with the Bucks this season. The Villanova product is currently notching a career-best 9.9 points and 2.6 assists per game while playing a career-high 25.5 minutes per game.

Even though Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Brook Lopez contribute more in the box scores, DiVincenzo has a massive role in Milwaukee's starting lineup. His contributions on both ends of the court could help determine whether or not the Bucks can compete for an NBA title this season.

Maybe Antetokounmpo hasn't been made aware of Williams and his legendary nickname that came long before DiVincenzo. In light of that, the All-Star forward may need to conjure up a new nickname for DiVincenzo as the season progresses.
