The Milwaukee Bucks once again have the best record in the NBA, so the prevailing thought is general manager Jon Horst doesn't need to tinker with the roster.

In a conversation with Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, Horst made it seem like he's content with the Bucks' roster with the trade deadline looming:

“The stock answer is true,” Horst told me. “Of course we are going to look around. Of course we are going to do our jobs. But we are going to be incredibly patient and incredibly protective of what we have. I think that’s fair and I think that’s smart. It doesn’t mean that we’re not going to do anything or that we shouldn’t do anything. But we have guys here that have shown they can impact games.”

As was the case last season, the Bucks will go as far as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton can take them. Milwaukee is hoping Eric Bledsoe has a better playoff showing this time around as well.

The Bucks are 37-6 and Antetokounmpo could very well win his second straight MVP award. In 40 games this season, Giannis is averaging 30.1 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists. The three-time All-Star is shooting 55.2 percent from the field, 32.4 percent from beyond the arc and 61.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Antetokounmpo has 35 double-doubles and three triple-doubles on the season.
